These terms apply when you use cleaningexpertstoronto.ca or book a clean with Cleaning Experts Toronto (“we”, “us”, “our”). By using this website or booking with us, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the website or book a service.
Who we are
Cleaning Experts Toronto is a home and office cleaning company serving Scarborough, Ontario. You can reach us at hello@cleaningexpertstoronto.ca.
Using this website
You are welcome to use this website to learn about our services, ask for a quote, and contact us. Please give accurate information when you fill in a form.
Do not copy our content for commercial use, try to break into or disrupt the website, or submit false bookings. The text, images, and logo on this website belong to Cleaning Experts Toronto or the people who licensed them to us.
Quotes and bookings
You must be at least 18 to book a clean.
Your quote is one fixed price, based on what you tell us about your home and the service you want. A booking is confirmed when we confirm the date and time with you by email.
If your home is noticeably different from what was described, for example in size or condition, we will tell you the new price before any work starts. You can then accept it or cancel at no charge.
What a clean includes
The tasks included depend on the service you book and any add-ons you choose. Unless they are part of your booked service or add-ons, a clean does not include:
- Exterior windows, walls, and outdoor areas
- Inside ovens, fridges, cabinets, and closets
- Moving heavy furniture or cleaning underneath it
- Laundry and hand-washing dishes
- Pest problems, mould removal, bodily fluids, or other hazardous waste
We may decline or stop a job if the conditions are unsafe for our cleaner. If that happens, we will tell you why.
Getting your home ready
To let us do the job properly, please:
- Make sure your cleaner can get in during the arrival window, either by being home or by giving us entry details when you book
- Have running water and electricity available
- Tell us about pets, and secure any that may be unsafe or anxious around visitors
- Put away cash, jewellery, and fragile or valuable items
- Tell us in advance about delicate surfaces or anything that needs special handling
Payment
Payment is due once your clean is finished, not before. Your quote email confirms the price and how to pay.
Tips are never expected. If you choose to tip, the full amount goes to your cleaner.
Cancelling or rescheduling
Plans change. Please email us at least 24 hours before your appointment if you need to cancel or move it. There is no cancellation fee.
If we need to move your appointment, for example because of illness or severe weather, we will email you as early as we can and offer a new time.
We do not clean on New Year’s Day, Family Day, Good Friday, Victoria Day, Canada Day, Labour Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Day, or Boxing Day. If a regular clean falls on one of these, we will contact you ahead of time to move it.
Our satisfaction guarantee
If something was missed or is not right, email us within 24 hours of your clean. We will come back and clean those areas again at no charge.
The guarantee covers the quality of the work you booked. It does not cover tasks that were outside your booked service.
If something gets damaged
Our cleaners are bonded and insured. If something is damaged during a clean, email us within 48 hours with a description and photos.
Where our cleaner is responsible, we will repair the item, replace it, or reimburse its fair value.
We are not responsible for damage that was already there, normal wear and tear, or items that needed special handling we were not told about.
Website information and our liability
We work to keep this website accurate and available, but it is provided as is, and we cannot promise it will always be free of errors or interruptions.
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of this website or our services. Nothing in these terms takes away rights you have under Ontario consumer protection law.
Your privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect and how we use it.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when they were last revised. The terms in place when you book apply to that booking.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply in Ontario.
